Thoughts about Reading
A question that has occurred to me as I have thought about getting nonreaders to read more is what does reading matter if my life is in shambles. It seems to me that a lot of students are dealing with some many personal issues that reading is the last thing they want to do. Why don't students revel in getting lost in books anymore? I working out my thoughts on this question.

I agreee that students should get lost in books to escape from the every day drama of teenaged life. However, I feel that some of my students tend to use books as a form of escapism to get away from serious problems in order to never deal with them. This could create a whole new issue for them as they grow and mature.
